Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Sign up with your email and password, or use Google to sign in instantly. You'll set up your name and phone number, and you're ready to book.
Is Bokrez free for clients?
Yes, completely free. You never pay anything to use Bokrez — you only pay for the services you book at the businesses.
Can I book without creating an account?
No, you need an account to book online. Signing up is quick — just your email and a password (or use Google). However, if you walk into a business in person, their staff can create a booking for you on the spot.
Finding & Booking
How do I find a business?
Go to the Search page and browse by service, business name, or city. You can filter by category (hair salon, barbershop, nail studio, massage, etc.), price range, rating, or distance. Switch to map view to see what's nearby. You can also browse by neighborhood (kvart) within each city.
How does the booking process work?
1. Pick your service(s) — you can select multiple in one visit. 2. Choose your staff member — see their ratings and reviews, or pick "Anyone available" to book with whoever is free. 3. Pick a date and time — see real-time availability. 4. Add any notes and confirm.
What does "Anyone available" mean?
When you select "Anyone available," the system assigns whichever staff member is free at your chosen time. This is useful when you don't have a preference. If you want a specific person, choose them by name to see their individual ratings and availability.
Can I book multiple services at once?
Yes. Select multiple services during booking and they'll be scheduled as one visit with the same staff member, one after another.
Can I book for a group?
Yes, group bookings are supported — book the same service for multiple people at the same time.
What if there's no availability when I want?
Join the waitlist for your preferred date, time, and staff. You'll be automatically notified if a slot opens up.
Can I make a recurring appointment?
Yes. During booking, select "Make recurring" and choose a frequency (every 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks). You can pause, resume, or cancel your recurring booking at any time from your dashboard.
Will I get a booking confirmation?
Yes. After booking, you'll see a confirmation page with all the details. If you're registered, you'll also receive an email confirmation with all the appointment information.
Can I add extras to my booking?
Yes. Many businesses offer add-ons that you can add during booking (e.g., a hair treatment with your haircut, or nail art with your manicure). Available add-ons are shown after you select your service.
Managing Appointments
Where do I see my appointments?
Your dashboard shows your next upcoming appointment with a countdown timer. The Appointments page has two tabs — Upcoming and Past — with full history.
Can I cancel an appointment?
Yes. Go to your Upcoming appointments and cancel. Each business sets their own cancellation deadline (e.g., 24 hours before). If you cancel within the free cancellation period, there's no penalty. You'll see the remaining time before the deadline expires.
Can I reschedule?
Cancel your existing appointment and book a new one. Or use the quick rebook feature from your appointment history to instantly book the same service and staff again.
What happens if I don't show up?
Businesses can set no-show policies. After a certain number of no-shows (set by the business), you may be blocked from future bookings or charged a fee. You'll always see the cancellation deadline before it expires, so you can cancel in time.
Can I add my appointment to my calendar?
Yes. Download the .ics file from your appointment details and import it into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or any calendar app.
Will I get reminders?
Yes. You'll receive reminders before your appointment (typically 24 hours and 2 hours before), either by email or WhatsApp if the business has it enabled.
What if the business is closed for a holiday?
Businesses can set closures for holidays, renovations, or other reasons. If your appointment falls on a closed day, you'll be notified. You can then rebook with the same staff member or choose someone else.
Payments
How do I pay?
Payment is handled directly at the business — Bokrez does not process payments. You pay the business at the time of your appointment using whatever methods they accept (cash, card, etc.). Some businesses may show prices online, while others prefer to discuss pricing in person.
Can I see prices before booking?
Most businesses display their prices on the booking page. Some businesses choose to hide prices — in that case you'll see "Price on request" or "Contact for pricing." You can always message the business directly to ask about pricing.
Favorites & Reviews
How do favorites work?
Tap the heart icon on any business profile or during search. Find all your saved businesses under the Favorites tab. You can also follow specific staff members for quick access to their availability.
How do I leave a review?
After a completed appointment, you can rate your experience with 1-5 stars, write a comment, and upload up to 5 photos. You can review both the business and the specific staff member.
Loyalty & Gift Cards
How does the loyalty program work?
Each business can run its own loyalty program using stamp cards. After a completed appointment, you earn a stamp. Collect enough stamps and you get a reward (like a free service). Track your progress on the Loyalty page in your dashboard.
Do loyalty stamps work across different businesses?
No. Each business runs its own independent loyalty program. You'll have separate stamp cards for each business.
How do gift cards work?
Businesses can sell gift cards in fixed amounts. When you receive one, it appears in your Gift Cards page with the balance and expiry date. To use it, present the gift card code at the business — the staff will apply the balance to your visit.
Do gift cards expire?
Yes, gift cards have an expiry date. You'll see a 30-day warning before it expires.
Messaging
Can I message a business directly?
Yes. Go to your Inbox and start a conversation with any business you've booked with. Messages are in real-time.
Account & Settings
Can I change the language?
Yes. Switch between Croatian, English, German, and Spanish anytime from your profile settings.
Is there a dark mode?
Yes. Toggle between light and dark theme in your profile settings.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile Settings and select Delete Account. This action is permanent and removes all your data.
Do I get push notifications?
Yes. Allow notifications in your browser to receive instant push notifications for booking confirmations, reminders, messages, and appointment updates — even when you don't have Bokrez open.
